Helen Virginia Wells Lipsmeyer, 95, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025 at her home in Diana, TX.

Helen was born in Pocahontas, AR on February 1,1930 to Russell and Rosa Lee White. Helen was the oldest of four girls.

A Life Well Lived In addition to being a homemaker, Helen was also a farmer, and an avid crafter who was well known for her green thumb, love of country music, and the great outdoors. She spent many happy days fishing and camping along the banks of the Spring and White rivers. She was also known to occasionally play music for the deer and squirrels.

Two Cherished Partnerships. Helen found love and companionship in two significant partnerships during her life. She was first married to Billy Wells in 1946 and together they shared 30 years of marriage and built a family with their children, Ann Cummings (and the late Lealon) of Hurst, TX, Jerry (and Anne)Wells of Lowell, AR, and Susan (and Wayne) Fitzgerald of Diana, TX. After Billy passed away in 1977 Helen later remarried Gregory Lipsmeyer. They were married in 1982 and shared 9 happy years together.

Enduring Legacy Helen will be deeply missed by her surviving family, including her children: Ann Cummings of Hurst, TX, Jerry (and Anne)Wells of Lowell, AR, and Susan (and Wayne) Fitzgerald of Diana, TX and her beloved grandchildren: Toni, Kristin, Jarrod, Lindsay, Andy, and Tiger. She is also survived by her youngest sister Marzel Darvis of Walnut Ridge Arkansas, her many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters (Mary Jane Bates and Freda Robinett), husbands Billy Wells and Gregory Lipsmeyer, and great grandson Corlan.

A graveside service will be held to honor Helen Lipsmeyer at Randolph Memorial Gardens in Pocahontas, AR on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 10:00AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Helen's memory to your preferred charity.
