Henry Maurice Davis Jr.

Henry Maurice Davis Jr., a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on September 16, 1948, in Longview, Texas, to Henry Davis Sr. and Norma Davis, Henry lived a life full of love, laughter, and service. 

A proud combat veteran of the United States Navy, with two Purple Hearts, Henry's dedication to his country was matched only by his devotion to his family. He was the kind of guy who could light up a room with his smile and had a knack for telling stories that made you feel like you were right there, experiencing every moment with him. 

Henry is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Davis. He leaves behind his sons, Rick Davis and Jennifer, David Allen Davis and Todd, and William Joseph Reising and Shannon; and his treasured daughter, Michele Davis-Bussey and Tray. He is also survived by his brothers, Gary Wayne Davis and James Carl Davis, and his sister, Linda Procise, all of whom will carry his memory in their hearts. Henry was a proud grandfather to Haley Davis, Leah Davis Bradshaw, Gage Evans, Taylor Bussey, Jaxson Bussey, and Skylar Reising, and he found boundless joy in his great-grandchildren, Kayson Bradshaw, Jonah Bradshaw, and Islarose Bussey. 

Henry is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Alton Davis, who he missed dearly. 

Henry lived life fully and wholeheartedly, and while he will be deeply missed, his spirit will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.
