J T Smith DIANA �Services for J T Smith, 68, of White Oak will be at 10 AM Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Grubbs-Loyd Chapel, in Diana, with Brother Brian Brooks officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will be at Center Cemetery in Harleton. He passed away Friday, December 16, in Longview. J T was born September 28, 1943 in the Jackson Community in Marion County, to Charles E. and Henrietta Smith. He retired from LeTorneau in 2001 as a machinist, and was a member of the White Oak United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Patricia Ann Smith. He is survived by a son: Scott Smith, and wife, Stacy, of Texarkana, TX; a daughter: Susanna Smith of Houston; Brothers and sisters-in-law: Henry and Judy Smith of Harleton and Larry and Sherry Smith of Carrolton, TX; sisters: Ann Clark, and husband, J T, of Harleton and Cecelia Harber of Longview. Visitation will be held Monday, December 19, 2011, 6-8 p.m. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
