James Arnold Frillou

Graveside services for Mr. James Arnold “Frenchy” Frillou, 73, of Gladewater will be Saturday, July 11, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at the Axtell Cemetery in Axtell, Texas under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at Croley Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mr. Frillou passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020 in Gladewater.

James was born April 18, 1947 in Orange, Texas. James worked for Mars Candy Company in Waco as a Senior Operator for 26 years before his retirement. James was a sports fan and enjoyed watching the Baylor Bears, Texas Rangers, the Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR and watching westerns like “Gunsmoke” and “The Rifleman”. He was also known as a good handyman and like going to yard/garage sales and “Trade Days” in search of his next project. James enjoyed fishing, playing golf, camping and especially watching his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. James will dearly missed by those he leaves behind. But above everything he was a follower and believer in Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior.

James is survived by his wife of 40 years Connie Frillou; four children April Frillou, Michael Frillou, Kevin Frillou and Shane Frillou; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.
