Graveside services for James Herman Davis, 67, of Gilmer, will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015, at 10 A.M. at Grice Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Born on July 11, 1947, in Gilmer, Texas, he died on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. He was a veteran of the United States Army and an auto mechanic. He is survived by his son, Jason Davis; daughter, Jaimee Davis; four grandchildren, Jessica Davis, Eric Lopez, Ethan Lopez, and Jolene Davis; and brother, Eddie Davis.
