Jared Evan Owen

Jared Evan Owen, who was born on June 15, 1995, in Longview, Texas, went to be with the Lord on November 18, 2025, in Bryan, Texas.

Jared is a devoted husband, an incredible father, loyal brother and son, and a friend loved by many. To know Jared was to love Jared—he made a lasting impact on every person he met, leaving behind a legacy of strength, kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion.

Jared leaves behind his wife, Ashlynn, and their two beautiful children, Cooper and Denver, who were the center of his world. He is also survived by his parents, Troy and Crystal Owen of White Oak; his brothers Erik Owen and wife Avery of Longview, Ian Owen, and Sam Owen of White Oak; his father- and mother-in-law, Jeff and Barbara Hill, and Alicia and Keith Hill; as well as his brothers- and sisters-in-law: Jacob and wife Kaitlyn, Colton and wife Chrissy, Eric, Kenzie, Reese, Adam, and Jared. He is also loved and remembered by a multitude of family, friends, and friends who became family. Each of them carries pieces of his spirit and his influence.

He loved his family with a depth that could be felt in every moment—whether during family game nights playing Uno, cooking and smoking meat on his PitBoss, enjoying a glass of bourbon, watching the UFC fights, or calming the everyday chaos and joy of parenthood. He especially cherished traveling with Ashlynn and the kids, exploring new places together and creating memories that will forever be treasured. His adventurous spirit led him across mountains, woods, and countless trails, always searching for the beauty in God’s creation.

Jared found purpose, pride, and fulfillment in his work as an Impella Representative with Johnson & Johnson Abiomed, where he cared deeply for his medical professional peers, patients, and his team.

Jared is known for his dedication as a professional MMA fighter, where he displayed unmatched discipline, courage, and heart. His lifelong love of fitness was more than a hobby—it was a reflection of his determination to show up fully in every area of his life. His affection for his dog, Rhea, was a testament to his loyalty and tenderness.

To know Jared was to witness a God-fearing man who loved fiercely, lived boldly, and gave generously. His presence was a gift, his laughter unforgettable, and his heart irreplaceable.
