J.C. King

Graveside services for J.C. King 76, of Harleton, Texas will be held at Smyrna Cemetery, Wednesday July 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Joseph Feilden officiating.

J.C. was born October 10, 1948 to J.W. and Bonnie King in Jefferson, Texas. and passed peacefully on July 4, 2025.  He was a retired carpenter and of the Baptist faith.  He loved to hunt, fish, and spending time with his children and great grandchildren more than they will ever know.  J.C. was a dedicated father, grand father and husband to his wife Mabel of 57 years.

J.C. is survived by his loving wife Mabel, his children Candis and James Phillips, Jay and Andrea King, Grandchildren Nicole and Peyton Cagle, Austin Phillips, and Remington King. His five sisters and one brother, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends

Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Knabenshue, James Phillips, Jay King, Brian Moore, Austin Phillips and Peyton Cagle.

Visitation will be Tuesday July 8,2025 at Croley Funeral Home, Diana, Tx. from 6-8 p.m.
