Jeanette Childers, 81 of Diana, Texas, passed away on October 27, 2026.  The daughter of Samuel and Alma Sewell, she was born on September 4, 1945, in Waldo, Arkansas.

She was married to Randal Childers, who precedes her

Jeanette is survived by her daughter Patty Smith and husband Ken; grandchildren, Brittany Howe (Tim Burr), Brandon Howe, Courtney Howe, 10 great grandchildren, siblings Patrica McClumg (Gene) and James Sewell.  She is preceded by her parents, husband, sisters Bobbie Simpson, Geraldine Kassube; brothers W.P. Sewell and Junior Sewell.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at New Hope Baptist Church, Ore City, Texas at 10:30 in the morning.
