Jeffery Wayne Lynn, age 63, passed away on April 16, 2026. He was born on June 10, 1962, in Gladewater, Texas. 

Jeffery was a hardworking, kind, and friendly man who left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He dedicated 38 years of service as an operator at Eastman Chemical, where he was also a proud member of the Eastman Fire Department. His strong work ethic and commitment to his colleagues and community were evident throughout his life. 

A 1981 graduate of White Oak High School, Jeffery enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He had a deep love for nature, hunting, and wildlife, and he especially cherished time spent outdoors. He was also a devoted baseball fan, lover of old western movies, classic TV shows and could often be found at a local café, enjoying a cup of coffee while catching up with friends and staying connected to the day-to-day happenings of his community. 

Jeffery is survived by his father, William Hugh Lynn; his brothers, Tracy Lynn and wife Janie, Robert Lynn and wife Lesa, and Stewart Lynn; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Lynn. Jeffery will be remembered for his warmth, his kindness, and the genuine way he connected with others. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
