Jennifer Gail Spurlock

Jennifer Gail Spurlock passed away on November 16, 2025, in Gilmer, Texas. Born on December 10, 1984, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Gary Lynn Lancaster and Deborah Sue Whittington.

She married her sweetheart, J. Garrett Spurlock on May 12, 2012, and they raised a family together. Jennifer worked in the custodial department with the Harmony ISD and enjoyed visiting with other faculty, staff and students. 

Outside of her professional life, Jennifer found joy and tranquility in her several hobbies. She enjoyed reading in her spare time, watching movies and spending every minute possible with her husband and children.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, J. Garrett Spurlock, daughter, Peyton Ann Spurlock, son, Leelyn James Spurlock, parents, Garry Lynn Lancaster and Deborah Duran and husband Steven, brother Justin Garrett Lancaster, and sisters, Jodi Gay Shaw and Blair Duran.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral home in Gilmer. A memorial service to celebrate Jennifer's life will be scheduled at a later date.
