Jeremy Wayne Phillips

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeremy Wayne Phillips, a beloved son, and veteran of Big Sandy, Texas. Born on August 10, 1990, in Tyler, Texas, Jeremy left this world on July 3, 2024, at the age of 33.

Jeremy served his country honorably in the US Army, and reached the rank of Sergeant during his tour of duties in the War in Afghanistan. After his discharge he continued to make a positive impact on others.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clifton Phillips; his dad, David Walker; grandparents, R. W. and Dorothy Bailey, Christian Ovale and William and Jean Walker.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Denice Walker; grandmother, Betty Ovale; special friends, James Hoffman, Brandon and Shelby Sammons;  numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his military family, who will cherish his memory and carry on his legacy.

A Graveside Service to honor Jeremy's life will be held at Holly Tree Cemetery in Holly Lake Ranch, Texas, on July 13, 2024, at 10:00 am. Friends, family, and fellow servicemen are invited to attend the ceremony to pay their respects and celebrate Jeremy's life.
