Jerrie Marie Green

Memorial service for Jerrie Marie Green, 84, of Coppell, TX, was held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 19, 2014 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1200 E. Hebron, Carrollton TX. Interment will be held in Hawkins Cemetery, Hawkins, TX, at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mrs. Green passed Tuesday, May 13, 2014 in a Grapevine hospital. Jerrie was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1929 to Dorothy and Floyd Baxter. Jerrie attained her certification as a medical assistant, and worked in physicians" clinics. She was a very accomplished. Jerrie was a joyful voice in Sweet Adelines and in church choirs. She loved to cook and entertain. She and John loved to travel and relished the outdoors. She was married to John R Green more than 60 years, until he passed away in 2010. Jerrie was proud parent of Susan Vicky Fox Bruce David Green & Jennifer; and Jeffrey M. Green & Marla. Her grandchildren are Jeff Fox LeAnn Oxley Stephen Green Amanda Brown & Matthew. Jerrie is survived by seven great-grandchildren. Jerrie is survived by her sisters, Barbara Johnson (& Leroy) and Jackie Gice (& Gary). She was predeceased by her parents; brother, William Floyd Baxter.
