Gilmer -- Memorial services for Jerry "JG" Gumm, 68, of Gilmer, will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016, at 10 A.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer with Brother Benny Vaughan officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Born on November 21, 1947, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Warren Calvin and Agness Marsh Gumm, he died on Thursday, May 5, 2016. He was a newspaper distributor for The Longview News-Journal. He is survived by his father, Warren C. Gumm; son, Brett Gumm and wife, Paige; two grandchildren, Brock Gumm and Brody Gumm; and brother, Ron Gumm and wife, Linda. No visitation is scheduled.
