Jerry Lynn Adams

Jerry Lynn Adams, 65, of Ore City, Texas passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 in Longview, Texas.

Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M., Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Coffeeville Cemetery in Ore City, Texas with Reverend Tony Pierce officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.

Jerry was born in Gilmer, Texas on August 17, 1955 to Eugene Victor and Lorena Mae Adams. He worked in construction as a painter and framer and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.

Jerry is survived by his companion: Carolyn Scobey, sons: Nick Goen and wife Jennifer and Jeff Goen, brother: Robert Adams and wife Ann, sisters: Willie Smith and husband William, Hazel King and husband Jessie, Linda Holland and husband Tim and Denise Jones, grandchildren; Harley, Cheyenne, Nickey, Taylor, Kelsey, Jayden, Jared, Taylor, Charley, Makalynn, Olivia, Kharma, Jaxon and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Lorena Adams.
