GILMER �Memorial services for Jerry Lynn Prater, 73, of Gilmer will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Grubbs-Loyd Chapel in Gilmer, with Reverend Tony Pierce officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. He passed away August 20, 2012 in Gilmer. Jerry was born December 27, 1938 in Frederick, OK to William & Coila Prater. He was a measurement technician with Embridge. Jerry is survived by his wife: Beverly Ann Conaway Prater, sons: Benny Prater & Kelwin Prater, daughter: Lynn Prater Noldt, brothers: Leo Prater & Charles Prater, grandchildren: Katie Noldt, Michael Noldt and Kyler Prater.
