Jimmie Sue Lindsey

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Sue Lindsey, who left us on April 28, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on January 1, 1945, Sue lived a full and vibrant life, where she poured her love into her family and her cherished yard.

Sue was the heart of her family, and her love knew no bounds. She is survived by her devoted husband, Newton “N.L.” Lindsey; her son, Gary Dean Lindsey; and her daughter, Staci Savage, along with son-in-law Kenny. Sue adored her 8 grandchildren and had a special bond with each of her numerous great-grandchildren. Family gatherings were always brightened by her warmth and laughter.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sudie Carver; her daughter, Debra Lindsey; and her sister, Ann Shaeffer. As we reflect on her life, we remember her dedication to her loved ones and her happiest moments spent nurturing her garden.

In honor of Sue’s life, a visitation will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2025, from 11-12 PM at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 PM at the Starrville Cemetery in Winona, TX. Family and friends are invited to join us as we celebrate the warmth and love that Sue brought into our lives.

Rest in peace, dear Sue. You will be missed but never forgotten.
