Joan Carolyn Crenwelge

Joan Carolyn Crenwelge, nee Sanders passed away peacefully Monday, June 17, 2024, at the age of 90. Her long life was full of family including four children, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Born in the tiny Texas town of Hawkins in 1933 to Ray and Devorah Sanders, she loved to tell stories about her happy childhood and how she went on to travel the world with her husband of 60 years, the late Richard Clay Crenwelge II. Her working life was spent supporting her husband Richard in his career as a petroleum engineer, but her pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her four children Darlene Bartram, Donna Rae Wisor, Richard Clay Crenwelge III and Dee Ann Winslet.

Memorial service will be held at First Methodist Church in Hawkins, Tx on Saturday, June 22, 2024 and will begin at 2:00PM.
