Joe "Buddy" Garcia

Funeral services for Mr. Joe “Buddy” Garcia, 72, of Holly Lake Ranch, TX will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service on Saturday. Mr. Garcia passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 in Tyler.

Buddy was born in Trinidad, CO on December 19, 1946 to the late Eugene and Elvera (Gurule) Garcia. He was a construction contractor for many years and also proudly served in the United States Navy. He was also a part of the DAV-Nomad Chapter #52.

Mr. Garcia is survived by his son, Dan “Hijo” Garcia and his wife, Kelli; brother, Bruce Garcia and his wife, Marguerite; sisters, Pat Hall and her husband, Bobby, and Kathy Sabell and her husband, Gary; grandchildren, Jack, Brett, and Lilly Garcia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
