A memorial service for Mr. Joel “Butch” Howell, 63, of Longview, is scheduled for 11AM, Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Robert Ford officiating. Butch passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in Longview. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
Butch was born December 4, 1957 to Willie Charles and Joyce Nell (Nobles) Howell, in Longview. He worked in maintenance at the Gregg County Airport and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his brother, Michael Howell and wife Logan, niece, Kimberly Landreneaux and husband Joey, great-nephews; Jesse Howell, Kaleb Landreneaux, great-niece Madelynn Landreneaux and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Teresa Gay Howell.
The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at 10AM, at the funeral home.
