John Colwell, 71, of Diana passed away Sunday April 14, 2019 at his home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
John was born November 3, 1947 in Youngstown, Ohio to Everett Colwell and Jessie Margaret Williams Colwell. John worked as a foreman at Lone Star Steel and was a United States Army Veteran.
John is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mary Colwell, daughters; Melissa Pringle and Sarah Gough and husband Jason, brother; Robert Colwell and wife Mary Elizabeth, nieces and nephews; Gretchen Findlay, Patrick Colwell and Jessica Anderson, grandchildren Maddox Cough, Elizabeth Cough, Reagan Pringle and Olen Pringle.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jamie Colwell.
