John Henry Lee Mattingly II

John Mattingly II, 47, was born August 2, 1976 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to John and Regina Mattingly and passed away October 26, 2023 in White Oak, Texas.

John never met a stranger, and loved conversing. He was absolutely hilarious and enjoyed making a crowd of people laugh. He was great at being an Uncle. Lit up the room with his warm smile. He was steadfast in his beliefs and liked to fish and work with animals on the farm.

John went to White Oak Schools, St. Mary’s and Trinity School of Texas. John lived in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Burbank, California and White Oak, Texas. He also attended Kilgore College.

John is survived by his loving family; father, John Mattingly, mother, Regina Mattingly, sister, Michelle Mattingly Longoria and spouse, Zeke Longoria, brother, Kirk Mattingly and spouse, Brittany Mattingly, brother, and Anthony Mattingly. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and Aunt Elneta Walters. Allthough he will by missed by his loved ones his presences will always be with us.

A memorial will be at the “Gladewater Former Students Association” at 2509 Hendricks Street, Gladewater, Texas on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 5:30 pm.
