Jon Marshall Blavier

Jon Marshall Blavier, age 66, passed away from this earth on November 25, 2025. Born on September 26, 1959, in Tyler, Texas. He was a resident of Gladewater, Texas.

Jon spent the majority of his career as an oilfield technician. Later in life, he found purpose and peace working as a groundskeeper for a golf course and then at the RV park where he made his home.

Jon found joy in simple moments. He loved cooking on the grill, fishing, and being outside surrounded by nature. With patience and gentleness, he could coax a deer or squirrel close enough to eat from his hand. He was a humble, quiet man who enjoyed solitude, yet he cherished time spent with family.

Jon is survived by his children: daughter Amanda Evans and husband Frederick of Yukon, OK; son Anthony Blavier of Mineola, TX; son Aaron Blavier and wife Andrea of Big Sandy, TX. Father David Blavier and step-mother Janice of Hawkins, TX. Sister Mollye Blavier-Parton of Yakima, WA; sister Julie Blavier of Tyler, TX. He is also survived by several grandchildren — Brittnee, Jacob (Mia), Cameron (Taylor) McKinzi (Dylan), Skylar (Martin), Zoe (Nathaniel), Daphnie, and Brynlie— 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who brought joy and pride to his life.

He is preceded in death by his mother Pamela Lane.

A memorial service to honor and remember Jon will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 10th, 2026 at Connect Church, 2558 FM 1844, Longview, TX 75605
