Joseph Wayne Thompson

JOSEPH WAYNE THOMPSON was born on August 19, 1930 in Tyler, Texas.  He was the youngest of three children born to Luther and Vera George Thompson.  He passed from this life on January 3, 2023 at the age of 92.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother and father, and his brothers Luther “Bill” Jr. and David.  He is survived by Edna, his wife of 69 years; daughter Kathryn (Ward) Case, daughter Carolyn (Mark) Hayes, daughter Nancy Drennan, daughter Lori Thompson and son Joseph (Liz) Thompson Jr.  He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
