Services for Kaytlin Michelle Poe, 13 of Gilmer, Texas will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 25, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church in Gilmer with Reverend Richard Laster officiating. Burial will follow at the Grice Cemetery in Upshur County. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Kaytlin passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 in Ft. Worth.

She was born September 20, 2003 in Longview, Texas to Jared Poe and Michelle Lee and attended Harmony Schools. Kaytlin was passionate about horses and softball.

Kaytlin is survived by her parents, Michelle and Chris Burks of Gilmer, Jared and Whitney Poe of Diana; brother, Kaydon Wesley Poe of Gilmer; grandparents, Susan Lee of Gilmer, Intha Vaughan and Vic Pepper of Marshall, Mike and Carolyn Lee of Texarkana, Betty Sue and Gerry Allen of Mt. Vernon; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Carl Burks, Jr.
