On July 8th, Kimberly Jayne Alexander passed away suddenly in her home at the age of 61. Kimberly loved teaching, crafts, sewing, and baking when she was not spending time with her children and grandchildren. Kimberly was born in Longview, Texas on November 24, 1961 to parents Sandra Jayne Ewell and Michael Lee Anderson. After graduating from Pine Tree High School, she was married and gave birth to three children who were the light of her life. She graduated from Steven F. Austin in spring of 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She was a supportive and loving mother, always there when needed for her children and grandchildren. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Pine Tree ward previously known as Longview 2nd. Her positive attitude and loving spirit will be missed by many.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her father Michael Lee Anderson of Mesquite. She is survived by her mother Sandra Anderson, sister Shannon Anderson, and brother Robert “Bobby” Anderson and wife Melinda along with many nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her sons James Michael Alexander, Jr. (wife Elizabeth) and Jacob Mathew Alexander of Longview as well as only daughter Krystina Renea Haas (husband Andrew) of Tyler. Kimberly is survived by the joys of her life, to whom she was Meme, her grandchildren: McKenzie Alexander, Vanessa Alexander, Alexandra Haas, Alice Alexander, Corbin Alexander, and Vera Haas.
Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1700 Blueridge Pkwy.) in Longview, Texas on Saturday July 22nd at 10:00 am.
