LaVerne May Greer DIANA �Memorial services for LaVerne May Greer, 74, of Ore City will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 5, 2011 at Southside Baptist Church, at Ore City with Reverend Madison Caffey and Brother Butch Landers officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. She passed away August 28, 2011 in Tyler. LaVerne was born November 7, 1936 in McKees Port, PA to Henry and Freeda Lux. She was a retired manager of Pick & Save store and a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband: Floyd C. Greer, sons and daughters-in-laws: Donald Maize, David Maize, Wesley & Melody Greer, Dennis Neal, Ricky & Misty Greer, Christopher & Sabrina Greer, daughters & sons-in-law: Debbie & Pat Sweeney, Deborah Greer, Dianna Greer, Thussia Greer, Rebecca & Don Holder, 34 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Audie Greer, sisters, Maggie, Ruth, Dot & Ann, and brothers, William and Jim.
