Born on July 29, 1932, in Honey Grove, Texas, she entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by 4 daughters and son-in-law, Lesa and Samuel Garcia of Houston; Mary Elaine and Kelly Bridges of Friendswood; Patricia Aldridge of Hooks; Jennifer Lehrke of Big Sandy; daughter-in-law, Nancy Jones of Houston; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and sister-in-law, Charles and Paula Freeman of Detroit; Leonard Freeman of Paris; 2 sisters and brother-in-law, Beatrice Hall of Paris; Ervin and Mary Allen of Powderly; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewell and Neicy Freeman; husband, Melvin A. Jones; son, Johnny R. Jones; 3 grandchildren, Felicia Garcia, Roger Bates, and Michael Lehrke.
