Linda Kay Barry passed from this life and into the arms of her Lord on January 22, 2026, after a hard-fought battle with many health issues. She was preceded in death by her father, James (Jim) Barry. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Sue (Pitt) Barry, sister Jane Ann (Barry) Dickerson and husband David, niece Lacy Dickerson, nephew Lane Dickerson, and many extended relatives and friends.

Linda was an avid quilter, crocheter, and cook. She had a heart of gold and loved giving gifts of handmade items and delicious treats from the kitchen. She spent the last decade working in the office at New Diana High School where she had many friends and loved many students.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 31 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Croley Funeral Home in Diana, with a short memorial service to follow.
