Linda Kay Bernard

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Kay Bernard. Linda, born on August 20, 1944 in Dallas, Texas, was a devoted wife to her late husband Bobby Bernard and a loving mother.

She cherished her family above all else and leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. Linda is survived by her children; Julie Reed of Gladewater, TX, Lance Bernard and wife Jenni of Rusk, TX, Heather Bernard and Tim of Gladewater, TX; grandchildren, Chase Reed and Lina of Tyler, TX, Neely Reed and Chris of Longview, TX, Ally Walley and husband Drew of Rusk, TX, Abby Bernard of Rusk, TX and Connor Bernard of Gladewater, TX; great-grandchildren, Raylee and Kace Wenzel of Longview, TX and Brooks Walley of Rusk, TX; sister, Emmy Strange and husband Patrick of Greenville, TX; as well as many other nieces and nephews, who all brought immense joy to her life.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Bernard; parents, TC and Cletys Baker; sister, Shirley Grant; brother, Don Baker and mother-in-law, Jean Bernard.

Linda will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to their church family at First Assembly of God, Gladewater, TX and to Nurse Jennifer.

A graveside service will be held to honor Linda's life on August 3, 2024, at 10 o'clock in the morning at Gladewater Memorial Park in Gladewater, TX. We invite all who knew Linda to join us as we celebrate her life and legacy.
