Linda Jean Vick

Linda Jean Vick, 79, of Bettie, Texas was born on July 29, 1946, in Gilmer, Texas to Gerald and Marcelle Vick and passed from this life on September 15, 2025, in Longview, Texas.

Linda worked and retired from Etex Telephone. Linda’s passion in life was being in her yard, when she wasn’t at her job, she was in her yard, mowing or anything that needed to be done.

While she never had children of her own, Linda embraced the role of a loving aunt with open arms and an open heart. She often remarked how blessed she felt to share in the joys and milestones of her sister's sons and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Peggy Bledsoe, nephews, Frank Bledsoe and Steve Bledsoe; great nieces, Hannah Bledsoe Pearson and Haley Bledsoe; great nephew, Zach Bledsoe.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

Services for Linda will be Thursday, September 18, 2025, at First Methodist Church in Gilmer at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
