Linda Kay Wells

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Kay Wells, who left us on August 14, 2025, just shy of her 72nd birthday. Born on August 25, 1953, in Denton, Texas, Linda was a cherished friend, devoted mother, and loving grandmother. 

She will be deeply missed by her son, Roy Hock, and daughter-in-law, Roxanne Hock. Linda's brother, David Reed, and sister, Laurie Reed, hold her memory close, as do her eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and an extended family of friends who were lucky to know her vibrant spirit.Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl Wells, and her parents, William Reed Sr. and Rosemary Davis Reed, who had shaped her life with their love and guidance.

A memorial service celebrating Linda's life will take place at East Mountain Baptist Church on August 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Friends and family are invited to gather and share their memories of Linda, who brought joy and warmth to everyone around her.

Though she may no longer be with us, Linda's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
