Lonnie Wayne Mitchell

Lonnie Wayne Mitchell, 73, passed away unexpectedly on December 15, 2025.  He was born on February 2, 1952 in Gladewater, Texas to Henry Colon "Cowboy" Mitchell and Winnie Lou (Huggins) Mitchell.

Lonnie is survived by his children, Curtis Jarman, Kenneth Jarman, DaWanna Jarman and Lawan Kirkland; siblings, Ronnie Mitchell and Pat Mitchell; and many other extended family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cowboy and Winnie Mitchell; wife, Wanda Jarman; grandchildren, Krystal Jarman and Austin Alexander and siblings, Neal Mitchell, Donnie Mitchell and Johnny Mitchell.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Mitchell Family Cemetery in Upshur County.
