Lonzo "Doodle" Potter

Lonzo " Doddle" Potter, 74, of Gilmer passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, in Gilmer. He was born on May 9, 1940, in Gilmer to Buck and Ruby Skinner Potter. Mr. Potter was a plumber for Sisson and Son, Inc. On July 14, 1960, he married Mary Lou Hill and she preceded him in death in 2009. Mr. Potter was also preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Lonny Ray Potter and wife, Barbara of Gilmer; daughter, Wendy Dawn White and husband, Kenneth Wayne White, Jr. of Gilmer; grandchildren, Dwanna Lynn White and Jennifer Renea Spears and great grandchild, Dillan Ray White Bullard. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer.
