Obituary

Lori Lee Everett Peek, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the age of 61, surrounded by the love of her family.

Lori was born on December 16, 1964, in Marshall, Texas, to Roy "Phillip" Everett and Lavada Thompson. Lori was known for her hard work and dedication during her time employed at Fleetwood.

To know Lori was to know a woman who lived life with an adventurous spirit and a fierce sense of individuality. She was happiest when she was outdoors—whether she was riding four-wheelers, casting a line while fishing, catching the breeze on a motorcycle, or soaking up the sun at the beach. Lori was a proud and passionate collector of many treasures, and she always had a special love for Jeeps. Her vibrant energy and unique hobbies made her unforgettable to everyone she met.

Above all, Lori’s greatest pride was her family. Her legacy of love, strength, and adventure will live on through them.

Family left to cherish her memory is her mother, Lavada Thompson; daughter & son-in-law, Amie and Adam Brace; grandchildren, Maddyson, Colton, and Weston; sisters, Lesli Richardson (Larry) and Phylann Horan; brothers, Carl Everett (Krista) and Roy Everett, Jr.; extended family, a wonderful host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who she adored.

Lori was preceded in death by her father, Roy "Phillip" Everett, and her stepfather, "Sapo" Travis Thompson.
