Services for Mrs. Lou Attaway, 82 of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M, Monday, November 22, 2010, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marion Palmer and Reverend Gary Mason officiating and interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Mrs. Attaway passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2010 in Longview after a short illness. She was born August 7, 1928, Parks, Arkansas to Paul E. Buster and Lillian Holland Buster. Mrs. Attaway graduated from Sabine High School and Kilgore College. She was a bank teller and worked in the loan department at Gilmer National Bank for 35 years until her retirement. Mrs. Attaway was an active member of Gilmer First Baptist Church and the Rachel Sunday School Class. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Debbie White of Big Sandy, Martin and Kim White of Tulsa, Ok, Stephen and Rhonda Attaway of Longview and Phillip Attaway of Gilmer; daughters, Penny Attaway of Gilmer, Lacitia Attaway of Gilmer, Donna Taylor of Bogalusa, La., and Theresa Attaway of Gilmer; grandchildren, Valerie White, Devin White, Alex White, Dawn Mitch, Kristy McNeil, Jammie Porter, David Taylor, Darren Taylor, Amanda Attaway and Stephanie Mitchell. The family will receive friends on Sunday November 21, 2010 from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Texas Home Health, 500 E. Loop 281, Longview, Texas 75605.
