Louise Duffey

Louise Duffey passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at her home in Simpsonville. Ms. Duffey, a lifetime resident of Upshur County, was born on June 15, 1936 to the late William Allen and Nancy Clifford Shearer Pennington. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved to spend time with her family. Ms. Duffey was also a member at the Chapel in the Woods church.
Ms. Duffey is survived by her son, David Duffey (Juan Leon) of Tyler; daughter, Lourita Coe (Ron) of Gilmer; and grandchildren, Caiden Leon-Duffey, Ethan Leon-Duffey, and Travis Coe.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Duffey; her parents; and grandson, Dustin Coe.
Funeral service for Ms. Duffey will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Chapel of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with Bro. Alan Metzel officiating, interment to follow at Perryville Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
