Margie Gibson Montgomery

GILMER – Graveside service for Margie Gibson Montgomery, 78, of Gilmer will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2017 at Grice Cemetery in Upshur County with Bro. Charles Johnson officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.

Mrs. Montgomery was born April 27, 1939 in the Grice Community to Roy and Lillie Lois Allen Gibson and passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 in Gilmer.

She is survived by sons, Mark Irvine and wife, Karla of Marshall, Danny James and wife, Renae of Rhonesboro and Daniel Lewis of Longview; brothers, Max Gibson of Blooming Grove and Bogie Gibson and wife, Barbara of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Emily Roeder and husband, Josh, Will Irvine, Ashley Baker and husband, Luke, Jessika Keith, and husband, Kody, Adam James and wife, Amber, Jaylen Lewis, Ethan Lewis and Giffin Lewis; great-grandchildren, Logan Baker, Easton Baker, Kenlee Keith, Paisley Keith, Bentlee James and Harper James.

Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Montgomery; brothers, Haskell Gibson, Paul Gibson and LeRoy Gibson; sisters, Donna Gibson and Jean Gibson; granddaughter, Megan James.
