Funeral services for Martha Ann Howard, 69 of Holly Lake Ranch will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Little Mound Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Cook and Dickey Mauk officiating. Interment will be in Little Mound Cemetery in Upshur County. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Howard passed away Monday, June 7, 2010 in Tyler. Mrs. Howard was born September 5, 1940 in Ponder to John Allen and Eunice Louise Madewell. She was a self-employed Beautician and a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband: Gerald Howard of Holly Lake Ranch; son: Bobby Howard of East Tawokoni; daughter and son-in-law: Cissy and Paul Johnson of Hawkins; brothers: John Allen Madewell of Paris; sisters: Louise Bradley of Clemson, South Carolina and Ruby Lee Watson of Dallas; grandchildren: Shannon Duncan and Natalie McGee; great-grandchildren: Landon, Ashlee, and Jaydn. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2010 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
