Martha Lucille Cook passed away on July 24, 2026, at her home in Ore City, Texas, at the age of 79. She was born to Cecil and Hazel Evans on June 6, 1947, and was one of six children.

Martha worked for sewing factories as a seamstress for many years. She enjoyed reading, gardening and loving on her pets.

She was preceded by her parents, brothers; Archie, Dean and Cecil Wayne Evans; and her sister Louise Renfrow. 

Martha is survived by sisters; Virginia "Jodie" Esala and Dorthy Morse and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm.
