It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary Allaire Barber on May 12, 2026, at the age of 95, Mary was born on July 7, 1930, in Pampa, Texas, to Joseph Simon Allaire and Mary Margaret Dodge. She graduated from Hawkins High School in 1947 before embarking on life as a loving wife and dedicated mother of 7 children. Mary is preceded by 2 adored husbands, Raymond Barber and Billy Ray Sanford, as well as her daughter Maria Barber Dixon, and son Joseph Barber. She is survived by her children, David and wife Ruth, Anthony and wife Ann, John and wife Jill, Kelly and wife Brenda, Mary Margaret and husband James, and 3 generations of grandkids. As a devout catholic and active parishioner, there will be a rosary for Mary at 9:30 am followed by a celebratory mass at 10:00 on May 16, 2026 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church located at 1612 S FM 2869, Holly Lake, Texas. There will also be visitation from 5:00-7:00 pm May 15, 2026 at Croley Funeral Home located at 602 E Blackbourn St. Hawkins, Texas.
