Mary Davis

Marian Nell Davis, who everyone knew as Mary, 86, of Montgomery, TX, passed away in Conroe, TX on October 24, 2022. She was born in Kilgore, TX on May 13, 1936, to the late Wayne and Lucille (Rogers) Blasingame.

When life changed for Mary and she was looking to raise three children on her own, Mary went to nursing school and became a registered nurse, spending time working in the Parkland Hospital burn unit in Dallas. Mary later discovered her true passion and became a Realtor with Top Guns Realty, where she was able to become one of the top producing agents in the area surrounding Montgomery and Conroe, Texas, specializing in the sale and purchasing of farms and ranches. Mary often helped mentor associates she worked with and always made sure she took care of her friends and family.

Mary is survived by her sons, Ron and his wife Karen Pynes, and Tony Pynes; her grandchildren, Abby Pynes, Samantha McQueen, Ronny Pynes and Anthony Pynes; her nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Cathy and her husband, Anthony Driver, as well her nieces and nephews and extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Lucille Blasingame; son, Mike Pynes; brother, George and his wife, Becky, Blasingame; and sister, Connie Alexander.

A memorial service for Mary will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mary will be laid to rest at the Oak Hills Cemetery.
