Cremation services for Mellissa Dawn Smith, 35, of Longview were arranged under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Smith passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in Longview. Mellissa was born October 7, 1980 in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She spent her time working as a caregiver for the elderly. Mellissa enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends; especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Mellissa will be missed by all the family and friends she leaves behind. She is survived by her parents Connie and Pemm Conley; four children Destiny Guest, Hunter Smith, Katlyn Smith and Alissa Smith; sister Michelle Turner; two grandchildren Bruxton Guest and Adrian Willaby; close friend Shawn Blood as well as many other loving family and friends.
