Michael Brackeen, age 50, of Gladewater passed away on January 14, 2023 in Gladewater, Cremation arrangements are being held at this time and a family memorial service may be held at a later date.

Michael was born on January 11, 1973 in Longview to George Brackeen and Barbara Word. He had many loves and hobbies including drawing, playing cards, reading, watching old Westerns, and cooking. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Jayla Brackeen of Longview and her mother, Aurelia Logan of White Oak; father, George Brackeen of Gladewater; step-father, Dean Snyder and Glenda Burgess of Overton; brothers, Shannon Brackeen of Arkansas, Cody Brackeen of Gladewater, and Jeremy Brackeen of Kilgore; sisters, Charity and Stacy Curry; and one granddaughter, Meri Harrison.
