Mitchell Rory Hokanson

Mitchell Rory Hokanson, beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on November 11, 2023. He was born on November 24, 1995, in American Fork, Utah. Mitchell was known for his kind heart, radiant smile, and unwavering love for his family and friends.

Mitchell leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. His warm presence and caring nature touched the lives of many. He exemplified compassion and selflessness in all aspects of his life.

Mitchell is survived by his parents Rory and Tammy Hokanson of Greer, South Carolina; grandparents; Devon Hokanson (Mary) of Provo, Utah; son; Mayson Hokanson of Gilmer; daughter; Phoebe Hokanson of Gilmer; brothers; Austin Madsen of Spanish Fork, Utah; Jordan Hokanson (Haley) from Logan, Utah; and Justice Hokanson of Orem, Utah; sisters; Malia Hokanson of Richmond, Tx; and Amberley Hokanson of Provo, Utah.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Alice and Joseph Martin; grandmother; Celia Hokanson.

Mitchell's departure left a void in the lives of those who loved him. However, as they grieve his loss, they will also celebrate the beautiful moments shared with him. He will be remembered not for his untimely departure, but for a life well-lived, filled with compassion and joy.

Although his time on Earth was short, Mitchell Rory Hokanson's impact reached far and wide. The kindness he showed to others and the love he shared will continue to inspire everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mitchell's life will be celebrated with a Funeral Service on November 14, 2023. The service will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Gilmer, TX. The service will begin at 11:00 AM with Bishop Dennis Means conducting.
