Naomi Ruth Lucas

Naomi Ruth Snider Lucas, was born on November 4, 1940 to Lewis and Emma Snider in Hawkins, Texas, peacefully passed away on November 28, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. 

Naomi lived a profoundly fulfilling life and leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. She was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of those around her with her kind heart and gentle spirit. Naomi's memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was  predeceased by her parents; cherished husband, Jimmie Max Lucas and grandson Christopher. Although their absence brings profound sorrow, their memory lives on in the hearts of those whose lives they touched.

Left to cherish her memory are Naomi's sister Lavonia Stone; brothers Nathan Snider, Denist Snider, Franklin Snider, and Jerry Snider; sons Randall Wade Lucas (Marci) and Victor Blake Lucas; daughter Pamela Joyce Lucas (Stan Runk); grandchildren Sarah Kolbo (Chris), Samantha Lewis (Shawn), Seth Lucas (Amanda), Sasha Lucas (Darren), Jeremy Tullar, Tabitha McCain (Cody), Dianna Spangler (Jordan), and Jimmie Grishom; great-grandchildren Logan, Mallory, Avery, and Evan Kolbo; Blaine and Sheldon Lewis; River Lucas; Nevehya; Bridgett Tullar; Keely and Brinlee McCain; Analeigh, McKinley, and Callie Kay Spangler.

The family invites friends and loved ones to a visitation ceremony to honor Naomi's life. The visitation will be held on December 2nd, 2023 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. The visitation will begin at 1:00 PM and conclude at 3:00 PM.
