Nedra Jeanette Rash

Nedra "Jeanette" Rash of Gilmer, Tx passed away on July 23, 2024, in Longview, Texas. She was born on September 2, 1935, in Brownwood, Texas to George M. Martin and Addie Mae Byrd Martin.

Jeanette was a school teacher at Pine Tree ISD for 28 years. Her passion for teaching shone brightly through her kindness, patience, and innovative approaches in the classroom. Her legacy of compassion and educational excellence will continue to inspire generations to come.

She is survived by her loving son Keith Rash and his wife Nataliya of Gilmer. She also leaves behind her brothers Horace Martin of Gilmer, Jerry Martin of Waco, and sister Fawn Furry of Ft. Worth. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by four grandchildren: Jewel Fountain, Mikhail Rash, Dmitri Lipsky, and Alicia Hancock, along with 2 great grandchildren.

 Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.W. "Coot" Rash, and her son Curtiss Rash.

 A Visitation for Jeanette Rash will be held on July 27, 2024, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM followed by a Graveside Service at Sunset Memorial Park at 2:00 PM.
