Norman Wayne Green

Norman Wayne Green, 73, of Longview, Texas, went home to his Lord on Sunday, January 8, 2023, in Longview.

Wayne was born on November 13, 1949, in Stanton, Texas, to Norman J. and Velma Louise Green. He grew up in construction and was a paint contractor for many years. Later on, he started truck-driving until he retired. Wayne enjoyed fishing and the western/cowboy life. he had many props and designs created of the old western town life.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Linda Collum; a daughter, Tammy Green; and a brother, Jerry Green.

Survivors include the love of his life, Janie Redmon; a daughter, Lanell Green; sisters, Jeanie Green, Peggy Thompson and husband, Roy, Carol Williams and husband, Jay, Darla Hollowell and husband, Terry; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Harris Chapel Cemetery, Beckville, Texas. A visitation period will be held prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the cemetery.
