Orene Ballard

Funeral services for Orene Ballard, 91, of Gilmer will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 7, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Jack Jones conducting. Interment will be in Kelsey Cemetery. Mrs. Ballard passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in a Gilmer nursing home.
Mrs. Ballard was born April 12, 1919 in Kelsey to Joseph Warren and Annie Creel Walters. She was a homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her son: David Ballard of Chandler; daughter: Linda Bryant of Gilmer; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be David Ballard, Rex Muckleroy, Arnold Walters, Zachary Ballard, Robert Porter, III, and Allen Walters.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
