Patsy Laverne (Horton) Morgan, 84, of Big Sandy, TX passed away on April 25,2026, leaving a void her family cannot fill. Born on September 3, 1941, in Alma, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Albert and Mary Horton. She met Henry Morgan, and they were married for almost 50 years, building a life centered on love and family. 

Patsy was a devoted mother, known for her unconditional love to her 8 children she said God loaned her. She was often found cooking or sewing her many beautiful quilts for family and friends. 

She is survived by daughter Peggy Morgan, son Lenard Morgan, son Raymond Morgan, daughter Tressa Ellis, daughter Karen Morgan, daughter and son-in-law Mary and John Lyle, 16 grandkids, 20 great- grandkids, 2 great- great grandkids, Sisters Charlene Fortenberry, Kathy Schreckengost and many nieces and nephews. 

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband Henry Morgan, sons Henry Lee Morgan, Billy Lee Morgan, grandson Dewayne Morgan, great granddaughter Jasmine Morgan, both her parents, sisters Jo Williams and Floye Gilbow. 

A visitation will be held, Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 6 to 8 in the evening in the chapel at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas. Services will be held Friday, May 1, 2026 at 2 in the afternoon also at Croley Funeral Home.Interment will follow at Gladewater Memorial Park. 

Family will receive family and friends for a continuous celebration that will take place after service at Wilson Royalty Event Center-500 W Quitman Ave, Gladewater.
