Paul Mabron Johnson

Funeral service for Paul Mabron Johnson 64 of Hawkins will be held Thursday, December 14, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Little Mound Baptist Church with Bro. Dicky Mauk officiating. Interment to follow at Little Mound Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Mr. Johnson passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017 in Tyler.

Mr. Johnson was born October 13, 1953 in McKinney, TX to Kenneth Bailey Johnson and Wanda Frances Kirkland and was of the graduating Class of 1972 at Frisco High School where he participated in rodeos and showing cattle. He married his wife, Cissy Howard on October 15, 1976 in Frisco, TX. Mr. Johnson loved hunting and was very passionate about fishing. Mr. Johnson worshiped his grandchildren and family was his life.

Paul is survived by his mother; Wanda Frances Kirkland, wife; Cissy Johnson, daughters; Shannon Duncan and husband Tommy, Natalie Reeve and husband Michael, sister; Pam Burnett, and seven grandchildren; Landon Johnson, Ashlee Pair, Jadyn Duncan, Peyton McGee, Lily Grace Reeve, Jayden Reeve, and Colin Reeve.

Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his father; Kenneth Bailey Johnson.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Jason Danielson, Jarred Danielson, Jeremy Danielson, Michael Reeve, Tommy Duncan, and Landon Johnson.
